Reporting a Continent: Who Owns the African Story?

On Thursday 25 May 2017 (Africa Day) The Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC), in partnership with the UJ Library, hosted a Public Dialogue entitled “Reporting a Continent: Who Owns the African Story?”

Chair: Ms Thandeka Gqubule, a journalist at the SABC.

Speakers: Prof Arthur Mutambara, former deputy prime minister of Zimbabwe and president of the African News Agency (ANA) in Johannesburg
Mr Andrew Harding, the BBC’s Africa correspondent, also based in Johannesburg.
