The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC), in collaboration with the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (IFA) hosted a two-day policy seminar on “Implementation of the United Nations Global Compact on Migration: Conflict, Governance, and Human Mobility in Africa/European Union Relations” in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 5 and 6 October 2019. This report is based on presentations and discussions at the Johannesburg policy seminar in October 2019, as well as the conference concept paper.
