Bob Marley
The University of Johannesburg’s Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation, in collaboration with the UJ Library organised a public dialogue and screened a documentary titled ‘Marley’ by Kelvin MacDonald on 30 October 2017. The event was attended by 165 guests.
‘Marley’ is the first film to tell the definitive life story of the musician, revolutionary, and legend, from his earliest days to his rise to international superstardom. Along with an incredible soundtrack, the film features rare footage, archival photos, and incredible performances and interviews with his family, friends, and band mates- the people who knew him best.
