The Role of the Caribbean in the Southern African Liberation Struggle Documentary: Fire in Babylon

The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation, in collaboration with the UJ Library, held a Public Dialogue titled “The Role of the Caribbean in the Southern African Liberation Struggle” on Thursday 12 September 2019. The event included screening of the documentary Fire in Babylon and it was attended by 101 guests.

Speakers: Ambassador Benitez Verson, Cuba’s Ambassador to South Africa; and Dr. Cyril Hunte, Guyana’s High Commissioner to South Africa.
