Mr. Orapeleng Daniel Matshediso is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation at the University of Johannesburg. He currently serves as an Executive Board Member at Timia-Africa and as a Public Relations Officer at the Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality. Mr. Matshediso earned his master’s degree in Pan-African Development Studies from the University of Johannesburg in collaboration with the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. He contributed a chapter to the book *Chasing Freedom: Histories, Analyses, and Voices of Student Activism in South Africa* (2022), published by CODESRIA, demonstrating his dedication to scholarly discourse and knowledge production.
