About: The CIDRA Europe-Africa Dialogue, with the European Union and the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Faculty of Humanities and Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC) University of Johannesburg convenes a roundtable series examining Barriers and Enablers for Investment in SADC. Through focused discussions on legal impediments and enablers, security governance constraints and opportunities, policy barriers and reform pathways, and diplomatic dynamics shaping regional cooperation, leading scholars and practitioners will critically engage the structural conditions influencing investment, regional integration, and sustainable development in Southern Africa.
