Invitation: The University of Johannesburg’s Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation
(IPATC), in partnership with the African Association of Political Science (AAPS) and the South African Association of Political Studies (SAAPS), has organised a 2-day SADC Regional hybrid colloquium titled SADC @30: Past, Present and Future, and therefore invites scholars, writers, researchers and authors participate by submitting your 300-word abstracts, or paper between 4000-6000 words based on the following sub-themes;
- Region-building and regional integration
- Democracy, governance, and human rights
- Economy, political economy and livelihoods (including climate change)
- Peace, stability, and security
- Agency: states, citizens, women, youth, and organisations
- Science, technologies, and society
- Health, education, and social policies
- External actors, partnerships, and linkages
- Proposed new thematic sessions
Due date: Before 10 April 2022 for abstracts, 31 July 2022 for papers. USE APA referencing and citation style
