31. Nelson Mandela Century

The University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC), in collaboration with the UJ library, held a public dialogue on Nelson Mandela. The event included screening of the documentary “Nelson Mandela Centenary”. The event was attended by 106 guests.

Chair: Professor Adekeye Adebajo, Director, Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation, University of Johannesburg.

Speakers: Judge Albie Sachs, Former Constitutional Court Judge, South Africa.

Ms. Elinor Sisulu, Executive Director, Puku Children’s Literature Foundation, Gauteng.

Honourable Bantu Holomisa, President of the United Democratic Movement (UDM), Former Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism of South Africa.
